Adolph Ansay

A hardworking visionary and entrepreneur, Adolph Ansay never sat idle, and the impact of his many accomplishments is still felt in Ozaukee County today. A husband and father of six, he somehow found the time to run the Belgium branch of Port Washington State Bank (and serve as a director of its holding company) and start A.N. Ansay Agency, Inc. which grew to be one of the Top 60 independent insurance agencies in the United States.

Adolph believed that building something meaningful required dedication, a philosophy he summed up in the family mantra:

You have to give to get.

With that mindset, he invested his time, resources, and heart into improving the land he called home.

He volunteered for the Belgium Fire Department, Belgium Lions Club and St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lake Church, and served his community as the County Supervisor of the Village and Town of Belgium for nearly half a century.  He was instrumental in founding Harrington Beach State Park, Hawthorne Hills and Mee-Kwon golf courses, renovating Port Washington’s County Administration Center and choosing the site of the Ozaukee County Justice Center.

But what his family described as his passion was real estate. Adolph Ansay saw potential in the rolling hills and open farmland of the Ozaukee County region. He started A.N. Ansay Real Estate out of an office on Belgium’s Main Street.  Decades later, the Ansay family passion for real estate still lives on in Ansay Development Corporation, which has now developed over $350 million in projects in Ozaukee County.

Mike Ansay

Mike Ansay inherited not only his father’s love for Ozaukee County but also his commitment to making a difference. Inspired by his father’s real estate company, Mike started Ansay Development Corporation in 1994.  Under Mike’s stewardship, the family began developing farmland into vibrant residential neighborhoods, thriving commercial spaces, and community hubs.

These projects, designed with sustainability and local needs in mind, reflect the Ansay family’s deep respect for the area’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.

NOW, THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERSHIP CONTINUES THIS PROUD TRADITION.

Mike’s three children—Kate Ansay, Nick Ansay, and Rachel Neva—have each embraced the family legacy with dedication, assuming key leadership positions within the family enterprises.

Kate and her husband, Ian McCain are driving the vision of Ansay Development Corporation forward, building innovative spaces that connect people and foster economic growth.

Nick is Ansay Development’s realtor of record, expertly managing the sales of all ADC’s residential properties through Suzanne Powers Real Estate, while also navigating the tricky world of importing as Ansay International’s Compliance Director.

Rachel Neva sits at the helm of Ansay and Associates, the insurance branch of the family of companies, as its VP of operations.

Together, their work ensures that Ozaukee County remains a place where families can thrive, businesses can grow, and the community can come together.
